Coat of mail @ the rendering of a Hebrew word meaning "glittering" ( kjv@1Samuel:17:5 kjv@1Samuel:17:38). The same word in the plural form is translated "habergeons" in kjv@2Chronicals:26:14 and kjv@Nehemiah:4:16. The "harness" (kjvKings:22:34), "breastplate" kjv@Isaiah:59:17), and "brigandine" kjv@Jeremiah:46:4), were probably also corselets or coats of mail. (
